Fly on the Windshield

Hola kemosabes! At the moment, I'm over at Chrissy's. The kids are all at play with Bionicles. The girls (Chrissy, Jira and Denise) are all watching Brokeback Mountain. It's the first time for all three of them so I'm doing my best to shut up, not heckle the film (as I've seen it too often and have some problems with the characters) or ruin its story for them. So I'm trying to locate some obscure punk bands' music at Chris' request (the Dollyrots, Go betty Go, Guano apes, Fly Leaf and Tsunami Bomb) all unsuccessfully.

I should be grading papers...that'll have to happen next week instead.

I've had the song "the Warrior" from the '80s stuck in my head all week and I can't remember who the chick is that sang it so I can just find and listen to the song and purge it from my system. Ugh.

Denise pissed me off today. She's always doing things like writing in letters to people inaccurate things about our home life--things that paint me horribly and her saintly. This time out, she insinuates that she's the only person who does the housework at home. I'm so tempted to not do ANY housework through the coming week just to put a highlight on how incredibly full of dung she is. Ah well.
