CSI was particularly boring tonight. From Grissom's Led Zeppelin reference in the beginning, I knew I was going to be less than entertained. Sure enough, I was right. I find that, fairly uniformly, the episodes that focus on only one crime stretch themselves out for too long and tend to rely on more preposterous plotlines whereas those with two or more crime scenes are tighter and more controlled--with less wiggle room for silly plotlines.

Lost has gone absolutely nowhere for the entirety of its first three episodes. Let's see some more back stories on characters who haven't already had 2+ backstory episodes. I'm beginning to wonder if the show that made its mark by jumping the shark in the first episode has gone and jumped the shark.
