Saturday was Aeia's 6th birthday. While nobody came who didn't RSVP (and we only invited people her own age on short notice), we had a lot better turn out for her birthday than I expected (given said short notice and lower turn-out at Lash's parties).

I was afraid we wouldn't have enough activities ready for the kids, and came to discover that when bunches of five and six year olds (and a couple older) congregate, they're pretty good at finding their own ways to be noisy and entertained beyond whatever you plan.

Aeia had a great time, which is what matters most.
